The extreme looks of the Scura would count for nothing if it didn’t deliver on road and track. Naturally, within the Exige Scura’s unique body beats the heart of a true sportscar.

Take the power plant. It’s the most powerful in the Exige range. With 257 horses to play with in a car that weighs a mere 925kg, 0-100kmh takes only 4.1 seconds*.

But power must be complemented by control. And the Exige Scura’s super stiff aluminium chassis is one of the most rigid in its class.

Bespoke Ohlins 2-way adjustable dampers give precise suspension control and allow the car to be lowered for track use. AP Racing 4-pot brake calipers and large diameter discs give immense stopping power lap after lap.

Lotus Launch Control
A quick getaway is guaranteed with Lotus Launch Control. Simply set your preferred rev limit and engage 1st gear. Floor the throttle and the engine will rev to your chosen limit. Sidestep the clutch and the car will launch extremely quickly with the minimum of wheelspin, a specially designed clutch damper minimising drivetrain stresses.

Lotus Traction Control
Lotus traction control prevents excessive wheelspin under accelleration and on slippery surfaces. The amount of traction control can be precisely varied on the move and can also be turned off completely. The traction control setting is displayed in the cockpit instrument pack.
