Elise
Light and agile, the Elise is a fantastic introduction to the Lotus family. A rear wheel drive mid-engined layout together with the aluminium bonded chassis, provides peerless ride and handling.
The new low emission 1.6 litre engine produces an impressive 134 hp at 6800 rpm. And with a 0-60 mph time of 6.0 seconds*. A 6-speed gearbox is now standard, meaning all that power is more accessible than ever.
Elise R
Powered by a four cylinder 1.8 litre engine, the Elise R uses sophisticated variable valve timing and lift (VVTL-i) technology to deliver 189 hp at an exhilarating 7800 rpm.
0-60 mph takes 5.1 seconds, aided by a close ratio 6-speed gearbox. And when the variable cams shift position at 6200 rpm the additional thrust is simply unforgettable.
A limited slip differential with Lotus traction control system (LTCS) is also available as an option.
Elise SC
The Elise SC has a supercharged engine producing an incredible 217 hp from just 1.8 litres. This provides mid-range thrust from the supercharger and high-rev punch from the hi-tech VVTL-i system. Top speed is 145 mph, while 0-60 mph is achieved in 4.3 seconds.
